How youll make an impact

Lead cross-functional program team (clinical, CMC, regulatory, preclinical, commercial, etc.) to advance assigned therapeutic program(s) through development milestones. Proactively identify and escalate program gaps/challenges and manage teams through scenario planning enabling efficient decision-making. Drive program teams to execute strategy and operational plans; align technical plans, development objectives, and corporate goals. Serve as the primary program representative to executive leadership, providing program updates, risk mitigation strategies, and milestone tracking.

Skills and experience youll bring

MD or PhD required. 15+ years of experience within biotech/pharma in roles of progressively increasing responsibility, including 5+ years in Senior Program Leadership positions for immunology or rheumatology (ideally Systemic Lupus Erythematosus) programs. Proven track record of successfully leading cross-functional program teams for programs in various stages of development. Strong understanding of cross-functional disciplines including clinical development, regulatory strategy, CMC, preclinical/translational science, and commercial considerations. Demonstrated experience leading teams without direct reporting responsibility; exceptional interpersonal skills and collaborative nature with strong ability to influence, motivate and resolve conflict. Ability to listen, understand diverse functional perspectives, and advocate for team needs and success across the organization. Proven problem-solving skills; experience developing creative solutions and meeting project objectives. Strategic thinker with excellent communication and presentation skills.
