AvalonBay Communities is searching for a dedicated and highly organized Leasing Consultant to take on the daily operations of the leasing team at one of our apartment communities and ensure our residents experience nothing short of luxury living. Join us in redefining what it means to live in style and comfort. If you're an accomplished office professional with a passion for innovation and a vision for excellence, your next career move is here! As a Leasing Consultant you will be the driving force in helping residents find the best place to call home. Your tours will be customized to individual tastes, from recommending the perfect floorplan to outlining the best new neighborhood amenities. You will follow through on every lead to ensure prospective residents know you care. Since weekends are the highest-traffic time for future residents to explore options, Saturday availability is required. Responsibilities Provide incredible customer service and create a sense of community to deliver a spectacular experience for new residents. Drive leasing performance with sales and marketing efforts, including personalized connections, campaigns, outreach, and social media activity. Follow through with tailored updates to prospects (e.g., preferred floorplan, local amenities, neighborhood highlights) to convey what its like to call the community home. Collaborate with residents and colleagues to uphold AvalonBay's commitment to Creating a Better Way to Live.
You Have
A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) required 1-2 years of experience in leasing or customer service, preferably in real estate or property management Strong interpersonal and communication skills Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite Knowledge of fair housing laws and regulations Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
