With a commitment to community development and resident satisfaction, we are seeking a passionate and experienced dual Maintenance Technician and Assistant Property Manager to join our team.Position Overview:In this dual role, you will play a pivotal role in the daily operations of maintenance as well as overseeing the office of our affordable housing property. Your primary focus will be to ensure the well-being of our residents, maintain high occupancy rates, and ensure the smooth operation of our office and tenants and maintain efficiency of our property.Assistant Property Manager Responsibilities: Tenant Relations: Foster positive relationships with residents, addressing concerns and providing exceptional customer service. Leasing and Marketing: Advertise available units and conduct property tours. Financial Management: Rent collection. Maintenance Oversight: Coordinate and supervise maintenance and repair activities, ensuring the property is well-maintained and in compliance with regulations. Compliance: Stay informed about affordable housing regulations, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local housing laws. Community Engagement: Organize community events and activities to enhance the sense of community among residents.Maintenance TechnicianResponsibilities: Responsible for upkeep of grounds, amenities, building interior/exteriors and leasing office, and parking lots. Remove trash from office areas and apartment community perimeter daily. Assist in the preparation of units, including removing trash from vacant apartments (trash outs) before make-ready. Assist in the cleaning of available apartments and or models. Snow removal of walking area within the premise. On call assistance needed for true emergencies (flood, fire etc.) Assist in the troubleshooting/repair of mechanical, carpentry, and electrical problems.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent requiredPrevious experience in property management preferred 2+ years of administrative experienceStrong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to handle customer service effectively.Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
