Job Description Under the supervision of the School Age Site Coordinator, the Group Leader will assist in supervising the program and ensuring a safe, healthy, and constructive environment for all children involved in the program. The Group Leader will ensure that all responsibilities reflect the mission and beliefs of the Old Colony Y and uphold the employee code of conduct. The role involves displaying and encouraging character traits of caring, responsibility, honesty, and respect in fulfilling all job duties. Requirements Minimum of 18 years of age, with 6 months of school age experience. High School diploma or equivalent. CPR/AED and First Aid certifications (training provided). Evidence of physical examination within the last 12 months. Negative Mantoux TB test and immunity for measles, mumps, and rubella. Ability to create a culture of excellence and work as part of a team. Ability to lift/move heavy equipment and clean when necessary. Availability to work early mornings, late nights, and weekends. Strong oral communication skills for public speaking responsibilities. Ability to sit, stand, bend, lift up to 75 lbs occasionally, and 40 lbs frequently (children), with intermittent movement during work hours. Understanding of Y-USA's three focus areas: Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility, with the ability to meet the needs of health seekers. Additional Details
