Telecommunications Foreman - Ft. Belvoir with Security Clearance Summary: The Telecommunications Foreman is responsible for leading installation of communications cabling and equipment, ensuring compliance with plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards. This role supports complex scopes for Healthcare, Government, Higher-Education, Federal Aviation (Preferred), and Mission Critical facilities. Responsibilities

Lead the installation of communications cabling and equipment in accordance with plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards. Gain understanding of Telecommunication Systems including OSP & ISP Copper, CCTV, Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS), Fiber Optic, and Structured Cabling. Work toward becoming a qualified BICSI Technician; support complex scopes across Healthcare, Government, Higher-Education, Federal Aviation (Preferred), and Mission Critical industries. Read and interpret plans and specifications; perform tasks with attention to quality and safety; ensure cables are installed methodically and organized in proper bundles at Telecommunications Rooms (TR). Lead installation activities from TR to work area outlets (WAO), perform testing and troubleshooting of ISP/OSP, including fiber optics and copper cabling (Cat 5, Cat 6, etc.). Perform QA checks of the team's work to ensure compliance with applicable requirements; maintain a clean and safe work environment; secure tools and materials daily. Ability to install Backbone & Riser Cable (Copper & Fiber), Plywood & Racks, Cable Trays, OSP & ISP, and Site Grounding. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications; maintain accurate documentation of work performed. Qualifications

Security Clearance: ACTIVE TOP SECRET clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI w/Polygraph is REQUIRED. Education/Experience: High School Diploma or GED; 8+ years of experience in telecommunications installation and oversight of OSP/ISP copper, CCTV, DAS, fiber optic, and structured cabling within diverse construction environments. BICSI Certification: At minimum, BICSI Installer 1 for copper; additional manufacturer and/or fiber certifications preferred. Experience in facilities across Federal & Government, Healthcare/Hospitals, Commercial Buildings, and Mission Critical environments; ability to pass basic telecommunications knowledge test. Core Market Sector experience: Hands-on installation of low-voltage systems; leadership of field-project teams; ability to read plans and specifications. Physical/Other Requirements: reliable daily transportation; ability to lift up to 50 pounds; ability to work at various heights; strong communication, time management, and organizational skills; willingness to follow safety procedures and maintain a safe job site.
