Federal legislation requires institutions of higher education to inform prospective members of our community about its most recent crime/incident statistics; crime prevention; security programs and activities; policies concerning the reporting of crime; and related information in accordance with the Campus Security Act, commonly referred to as the Clery Act. This information is also available on the NKU Police Department's website at http://nku.edu/police/securityreports Position Information Working Title Department Type of Work Study Building/Office Location Building/Office Location SU - Student Union Work Schedule This is a low commitment paid leadership position. You can work up to 60 hours per semester and earn up to $600.00! Hours to be arranged based upon department need and student course schedule. Must commit to a minimum 15 hours. Job Description This position provides support to Student Wellness Education ( SWE ) Office. Primary Responsibilities Greet students, faculty, staff, and community members who visit the office Help raise awareness of wellness-related resources Create and distribute promotional materials for SWE programs Provide support at SWE events on an as needed basis Assist with special projects Attend and contribute to bi-weekly meetings and required trainings. Other duties as assigned Qualifications Must be enrolled for at least six (6) credit hours at NKU Maintain GPA of 2.5 or above Ability to work individually and as a team A positive attitude Strong communication skills Ability to think critically and analytically Energetic, with an ability to adapt to different tasks as needed Interest in Health and Wellness promotion Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
