SHIFT: Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm PURPOSE: To assist in scheduling and tracking work flow, product and processes over multiple work centers. To provide essential information regarding inventory locations to leadership. Overall, to improve effectiveness of thru-put processes for all milestone (wax through dock) at SSBO.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Maintains computerized inventory of all parts through the plant.Makes adjustments to computerized inventory system as needed to assure accurate inventory status.Validates inventory in MS13 that is incomplete.Tracking of source and MRB rejected work orders.Calculates and reports daily thru-put figures.Engage operators in various work cells to ensure daily and weekly MS12 goals are achieved.Responsible for researching and justifying ways to reduce span in MS12 .Responsible for working with the department leaders in prioritizing the work.Responsible for the management of the work flows in and out of department and to provide feedback to supervision.Assists dispatch in moving product. Perform exclusively dispatcher duties for extended periods of time.Assists within dispatch with paperwork issues, splits and scrap transmittals.May be requested to assist in direct labor areas such as sandblast or fpi alkaline wash or others as trained and directed.May be requested in critical situations to assist with pickups to/from OSP or interplant shipping.May be required to handle hazardous waste.Performs other tasks as directed. SAFETY: To take responsibility for and demonstrate safe work practices.Typical Activities: Adheres to plant and department safety rules.Safely operates all equipment and tools.Identifies and reports safety problems. TRAINING: Training is provided on the job.May be required to complete Hazardous Waste Management Training. ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS. Previous production control experience preferred.Working knowledge of production functions.Basic knowledge of inventory systems, preferably computerized systems.Previous computer experience required; ExcelAbility to read and follow instructions and shipping/postal regulations.Ability to organize workloads efficiently and to attend to details.Ability to coordinate a variety of activities, including the work of others.Ability to work in difficult working conditions which may include exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, temperature extremes and other elements for extended periods of time. /*generated inline style */ All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran. /*generated inline style */ This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)).
