Cardiovascular Perfusion And Ecls Sales Representative

To gain market share in the Cardiovascular Perfusion and ECLS business by promoting, selling and servicing Medtronic's products in an assigned territory and to manage the achievement of unit and revenue goals within the respective territory. Responsibilities include conducting sales calls to promote, sell and service Medtronic Perfusion, Blood Management and ECLS products to existing and competitive customers based on a strategic territory plan. Call points include cardiac surgeons, cardiovascular OR teams, perfusionists, ECLS physicians, ECLS Directors, ECLS Coordinators, Hospital Administration and Clinical Directors. Achieve overall sales AOP with a critical emphasis to achieve AOP in ALL new ECLS product buckets. Develop, implement and follow through with a quarterly strategic sales plan to achieve sales goals and objectives. Create a detailed forecast with customer commitments. Identify, qualify, and close new and existing customers. Develop and maintain a high level of technical expertise in Cardiopulmonary/Cardiac procedures and ECMO/ECLS related clinical topics. Provide feedback and information on competitive activity, changes in markets, distribution and pricing. Actively identify and facilitate customer attendance at education programs and Key Customer visits. Coordinate customer activities at all assigned meetings. Train and educate both existing and competitive customers to gain incremental business. Complete all administrative reporting accurately, in a timely manner and in the requested format. Ensure input and accuracy of daily CRM activity report. Manage time, assets and resources in a cost-effective manner. Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, all divisions' products, and the products of competitive companies. Participate in training when appropriate. Must have a bachelor's degree and 5 years medical industry sales experience in hospital environment with selling to cardiac surgeons and/or perfusionist/ECLS clinical staff or 7 years as an active clinical perfusionist, Respiratory Therapist, RN with ECMO experience. Nice to have ECMO experience. Preference will be given to local qualified candidates and candidates with Medtronic experience. Experience selling to surgeons, perfusionists, ECMO related physicians and support team. Experience selling in the cardiac operating room. Track record of success in high pressure, sales environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Outstanding sales and negotiation skills. Demonstrated ability to effectively forecast for results. Ability to successfully develop and implement strategic territory plan. Ability to learn highly technical products and equipment. Demonstrate ability to in-service and clinically support all ECT/ECLS products on your own. Available/willing to work/travel weekends and evenings. This position may require on-call time. Continuous verbal and written communication. Ability to transport product/equipment from car to hospital on your own. Sitting, standing and/or walking for up to eight plus hours per day. Environmental exposures include eye protection, infectious disease and radiation. Ability to travel extensively with ease to attend conferences, customer education events and training. Must be able to drive approximately 80% of the time within assigned territory. Must have a valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy. Must live in the specified Sales Territory.
