Roche Support Network is dedicated to providing exceptional support to customers. As a Field Engineering Specialist, you will: Showcase your expertise in technical repair for Roche assigned product lines.
Offer valuable service to laboratory customers in your assigned territory.
Provide routine technical support, on-site service, and repair of Roche products.
Serve as a customer contact for technical and service-related issues and perform preventative maintenance.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hardware, software, and system failures.
Document all activities, contribute to quality improvement, and focus on maximizing customer satisfaction.
This is a field-based role within the San Francisco / Bay Area. Travel: Travel requirement includes formal training in Indianapolis and co-travel within Northern California, Reno, and Oregon for training purposes. Who You Are: Field Engineering Specialist
High school diploma and 2 years of technical school or equivalent military training or work experience.
2 years of experience repairing or servicing mechanical/system hardware and software, or networking/wireless networking, or equivalent level of competency attained through appropriate training or a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to work after hours, provide weekend and holiday support on a rotating basis, and be on call 24/7 during rotation.
Good written/verbal communication, organization, and prioritization skills.
Highly effective customer service skills, including a positive attitude and helpful interactions.
Knowledge of basic chemistry.
Relocation benefits are available for this position. The expected salary range for this position based in California is
$79,200 - $147,200 . Actual pay will depend on experience, qualifications, location, and other factors. A discretionary annual bonus may be offered. This position qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below. Benefits
