Job Summary: The Sr. Director, Data Center Operations for the Silicon Valley Metro owns the day-to-day field operations for all data centers in the region. With an organization of ~ 190 employees, including at least 5 direct reports, you are responsible for execution, capacity management, consistent response/structures, and streamlined support. Recruits, retains, develops, coaches regional IBX personnel. Leads fiscal responsibility and due diligence across all financial activities throughout their organization's headcount, capital, and expense purview, assesses data to improve processes and operational efficiencies and facilitates effective external and internal customer communication and coordination. Responsibilities

Drive strategic planning and priorities for data center operations Establish and track against KPIs, SLAs, and metrics Oversee on the ground incident response, problem resolution, and change management Establish critical business continuity plans Establish and track safety measures Ensure consistency in experience and on-the-ground response Coordinate with global design and construction team Own and track capacity management Shape a collaborative, transparent, and entrepreneurial culture Motivate employees around shared vision and change story Empower frontline resources to meet customer needs Qualifications

15+ years demonstrated track record of data center operations management and maintenance or similar, leadership and cross functional management experience Experience optimizing a growing and evolving business Skills and Attributes:

Focus on execution and results Ability to provide thought leadership, think strategically and effectively communicate vision and influence Lead by example Adept at balancing intense short-term pressures with overall long-term goals Financial acumen and ability to connect operational objectives to financial results The United States targeted pay range for this position in the following location is: San Francisco, CA / Bay Area: $245,000 to $315,000 per year Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training. The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
