As a Supply Technician supporting the Naval Expeditionary Combat Command (NECC), you will execute ELMS/DPAS property operations with an emphasis on inventory control, accurate data entry, and records management. You’ll perform physical counts, reconcile records, correct errors, maintain catalog data, and generate daily/weekly production reports in a fast-paced environment with frequent travel. Essential Duties (Inventory / Data Entry Focus) ELMS/DPAS Transactions: Perform receipts, issues, transfers, adjustments, and inventory actions in accordance with NECC procedures and training. Inventory Control: Execute scheduled inventories and cycle counts of Table of Allowance materiel; conduct reconciliations and discrepancy resolution; ensure proper location/serial/lot control. Data Entry & Quality: Enter and validate logistics data; clear error queues; correct mismatches; maintain data integrity and complete audit trails. Cataloging & Storage: Maintain accurate catalog/nomenclature records; support proper storage management, property utilization, transfers, and disposition. Reporting: Prepare daily production reports, weekly summaries, and ad hoc reports on inventory progress and data quality. Compliance & Training: Follow NECC/DoD supply regulations, ELMS/DPAS SOPs, and complete all mandatory training (including NECC 1500 series). Minimum Qualifications SECRET clearance (active). Experience: 5+ years using property management applications (data validation/quality; troubleshooting/resolving database issues to ensure data integrity). Supply Knowledge: Working knowledge of government supply systems, policies, manuals, nomenclature, and established guidelines. Functional Background: Experience in inventory management, storage management, cataloging, and property utilization related to depot/local/other supply activities. Analytical Skills: Ability to define problems, collect/validate data, establish facts, and act/recommend per established guidelines. Communication: Strong written and verbal skills; professional bearing; tactful interaction with military and civilian personnel. Readiness: Ability to work in a fast-paced setting, meet stringent deadlines, and travel up to 70% CONUS/OCONUS; valid passport required. Preferred Hands-on ELMS and DPAS experience. Prior Navy/DoD logistics experience (expeditionary environments a plus). Intermediate Excel (filters, lookups, pivots); barcode scanner familiarity. Work/Physical Conditions Warehouse and office environments; standing/walking; safe handling/movement of typical supply items. Follow all safety, security, and information-assurance protocols on Navy installations and networks.
