Production Associate – Level I (Disassembly/Cleaning and Inspection) Location: Commerce City CO Pay Rate: $23.50/hour Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Production Associate with experience using tools and working with automotive or heavy equipment. The primary responsibility of this role is the teardown of 60L and 78L engines. This position involves operating cranes to lift heavy components and using hand and power tools to disassemble, clean, and inspect engine parts in preparation for the next stage of production. Key Responsibilities Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Report and stop work immediately for any major injury hazards. Report work-related injuries, illnesses, incidents, or hazards. Comply with HSE standards, policies, procedures, and regulations. Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Promote a safety culture by looking out for team members. Correct hazards within scope of responsibility. Work to minimize environmental impact. Participate in HSE training. Quality Follow standard work, process documentation, and quality procedures (SPC, poka-yoke, visual standards). Raise issues to minimize cost and quality risks. Perform quality inspections and identify non-conforming material. Production Meet production goals by working at the required cycle time or engineering standards. Maintain a clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping and equipment care. Perform planned maintenance tasks and support equipment repair needs. Stay flexible to perform additional duties to meet production goals. Teamwork Communicate effectively with team members and support groups. Complete training and personal development requirements.
