Volt is immediately hiring an EHS Technician in Irvine, CA with a well-known industry leader. In this role you will provide technical support for the site EHS programs and initiatives. This is a first shift position. As an EHS Tech you will: Work in a dynamic manufacturing environment Assist in the development and implementation of:Machine risk assessments Evaluation of minor servicing exceptions to lock out tag out (aligned to 29 CFR 1910.147 Site EHS operating procedures Other EHS compliance activities This is a full-time contingent opportunity Estimated Duration 24+ months The ideal candidate will have: 2+ years of experience in an EHS role within a manufacturing environment (preferred) Knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910.147. LOTO authorized employee training is preferred. Experience with machine risk assessments and minor servicing exceptions is preferred. Ability to identify hazards and risks in a manufacturing environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects efficiently. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, or a related field is preferred Pay Rate: $24.00-25.00 per hour *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
