About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to provide strategic leadership and oversight of its operations, with a strong focus on advancing the organization's mission and maximizing community impact. The ideal candidate will have a rich personal relationship with Jesus Christ, a strong commitment to Christian values, and a passion for serving those in need. The CEO will be responsible for ensuring that the organization's operations address the whole person, particularly in the context of restoring relationships with God, self, others, and creation. This role requires a leader who can effectively communicate the company's Christ-centered mission, vision, and values, and who is adept at building and maintaining relationships with diverse stakeholders, including staff, volunteers, donors, and the community.
Candidates for the CEO position should have at least 5 years' of overall non-profit experience, with a minimum of 5 years' working with the homeless. The role demands a leader with a proven track record in financial and administrative management, as well as the ability to lead and innovate in these areas. The CEO will be expected to have a thorough understanding of finance, systems, and HR, and to be an impactful team leader on both strategic and tactical initiatives. Strong communication skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities, and a demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships are essential. The successful candidate will also be responsible for fundraising, awareness, and the development and implementation of systems for local revenue generation. A background in social services or a similar setting is highly valued, and experience with the public, media, local church, and volunteers is a plus.
