The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in guiding the board, supporting the Executive Director, and shaping the strategic vision of the organization. This leadership position is particularly suited to individuals with a deep commitment to grassroots work, community-led systems, and trauma-informed leadership. The Board President will be responsible for serving as the Chair of the Board, leading all board meetings, and ensuring strong governance practices that are collaborative, accountable, and aligned with the mission. Key responsibilities also include assisting in fundraising strategy, representing the organization at various events, and fostering a board culture rooted in collective care, equity, and mission integrity.

Applicants for the Board President role at the company should have prior experience serving on a nonprofit board, with a preference for those who have held a President or Chair position. The ideal candidate will have a background in or familiarity with fundraising, donor strategy, or development, and strong facilitation, communication, and leadership skills.
