Industry Non-profit Organizations Type Nonprofit Founded 2025 Employees 11-50 About the Role We are seeking a passionate and committed individual for the role of President of the Board, to lead our Board of Directors in a volunteer capacity. This is an excellent opportunity to shape the strategic vision, support our Executive Director, and steer collaborative board governance aligned with our mission. As President, you will: Chair all board meetings and direct discussions towards effective decision-making. Help develop and implement fundraising strategies to enhance the organization's impact. Represent the organization at community events and foster vital partnerships. Encourage a board culture founded on collective care, equity, and mission integrity. Ideal candidates will have prior experience on a nonprofit board, with preference given to those who have held leadership positions such as President or Chair. We seek individuals with knowledge in fundraising, donor strategy, and development, complemented by strong facilitation, communication, and leadership skills. A commitment to our values, vision, and healing-centered mission is essential. This role requires a commitment of 1-3 years, with a minimum of 6 hours per week devoted to board activities, including regular in-person meetings and events.
