Basic Job Functions: Nucor Skyline is seeking a leader for the position of Sales Manager. This Department Manager level position reports directly to the President. Job duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: •Leadership role in promoting Nucor’s Mission ensuring safety is instilled as a value, an appropriate focus on community & environmental stewardship, and a proven focus on profitability. •Develop and execute a strategic marketing plan and sales strategy for the division that is aligned with the Nucor Enterprise Commercial Strategy. •Developing team members through building relationships, training, and individual coaching. •Analyze data and utilize commercial experience to think and lead strategically. •Work collaboratively within the Nucor Skyline Leadership team to motivate and inspire the entire division. *Internal and external applicants will be considered concurrently. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. Minimum Qualifications: •Five years' combined experience in commercial, sales, and/or marketing. Preferred Qualifications: 1.Four-year degree in Business or Marketing. 2.Three or more years of Sales/Commercial Leadership in heavy industrial or Civil/Industrial Construction environment. 3.Willing to relocate within Nucor as future advancement opportunities arise.
