Laboratory Technician

Job Title: Lab Technician I Position Type: 6+ Month Contract Location: Somerset, NJ 08873 (Onsite) Salary Rate: $22 – $25/hour Shift Timing: Monday – Friday | 6:45 AM – 2:55 PM Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Lab Technician I to join our client’s team in Somerset, NJ. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting raw material testing, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong attention to detail and an interest in laboratory operations. Responsibilities Perform testing of raw materials using multiple methods. Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation. Alert management of potential quality issues. Comply with GMP/GLP standards and adhere to safety policies. Support supplemental projects as needed. Requirements Ability to perform color and odor testing. Prior laboratory experience preferred. Strong attention to detail with a proactive problem-solving approach. Effective communication and cross-department collaboration skills. Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
