Position: Video Content Creator/Editor Company: NAPCO Security Technologies Location: Amityville, NY Company: NAPCO Security Technologies, Inc., headquartered in Amityville, Long Island NY, is a world-wide leader in the manufacturing of electronic security systems for over 50 years seeks a self-motivated Video Content Creator/Editor who excels at video content production for use on social media, websites and embedding in emails, to work with our Marketing team and interact with Napco technology departments. Responsibilities: Comfortable acting as on-screen personality presenting videos featuring technology how-to’s, advantages and marketing messaging. Produce, write, shoot, and edit high-quality original video content for digital audiences delivering high-impact marketing content that drives real results creating scroll-stopping content that engages, educates, and converts (short & long format, website and social media). Create everything for 360-coverage content for paid and free /editorial media, from customer case studies and thought leadership blogs to on-site video and product-debut content, to “testimonial recreations”, that showcase our products/solutions by category (burg/fire/access/locking to pros and end-users (SEO strategic-knowledge for max impact/reach). Use strong storytelling abilities with proven success distilling complex topics into compelling narratives, vignettes and storyline. Leverage AI platforms (e.g., Canva, Adobe Express, Visme, etc.) for editing/animations and faster results to enhance business outcomes, including identifying high-impact use cases, exploring emerging technologies, and driving scalable, efficiency-focused innovations. Collaborate with marketing on products, tech., advantages and NST events to tell our “stories” visually. Collaborate with tech support and others across the organization—to integrate video content seamlessly into broader initiatives across channels. Stay up to date with social media trends, sound bites, viral formats, and platform algorithm updates. Qualifications: 1–3 years of experience in social media content creation, video editing, or digital marketing. Strong video skills- Utilize smartphone, DSLR cameras, lighting equipment, and various software (including Adobe) to create channel- correct visuals. Comfortable in front of the camera and able to present and communicate clearly and energetically. Strong eye for design, layout, and visual storytelling. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Good communicator able to distill tech subjects into simple-to-understand short-subject content. Self-starter with creative ideas, interested in collaboration. Must use Mac Network, Adobe Creative Suite Working knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator, as well as AI Video editing platforms, is a strong plus but not required. Portfolio and/or media kit showcasing past work is required.
