Volt is immediately hiring Mold Setter in Rockwall, TX. As a Mold Setter, you will: Set up and remove molds on injection molding machines based on production needs Safely install molds with proper alignment and connections (water, hydraulics, electrical) Prepare machines for startup and perform basic parameter adjustments Inspect parts during startup to ensure quality standards are met Assist with troubleshooting molding issues and collaborate with process technicians Perform basic mold maintenance (cleaning, greasing, insert changes) Operate forklifts, hoists, or cranes to move molds and materials Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety procedures Complete mold change documentation and production logs Support other tasks and projects as assigned by your supervisor Required Qualifications: High school diploma or GED (technical certificate in plastics a plus) 2+ years of mold setting experience in a plastics manufacturing environment Familiarity with injection molding machines (e.g., Engel, Arburg, Haitian, Toshiba) Strong understanding of plastic resins and mold installation techniques Ability to read technical documents and follow safety protocols Willingness to work overtime and flexible shifts Good vision (corrective lenses OK) and ability to detect movement and detail Title: Mold Setter Location: Rockwall, TX.
