Job Description We are seeking an experienced Senior Electronic Security Service Technician to join our dynamic and rapidly expanding team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and servicing sophisticated security systems for our enterprise-level clients. Your day-to-day activities will include system programming, project activation and commissioning, installation of field devices, and most importantly, servicing of high-end integrated security devices. You may occasionally travel to various client sites and respond to after-hours service calls when needed. This position offers significant impact on both our clients' security infrastructure and our company's continued growth. You will work independently with minimal supervision, collaborate with project managers when needed, and interface directly with clients to ensure their security systems operate at peak performance. The ideal candidate is passionate about security technology, enjoys problem-solving in dynamic environments, and has extensive hands-on experience with enterprise-level security systems. Duties and Responsibilities •Service and maintain enterprise-level access control systems •Troubleshoot and repair intrusion detection systems (both fiber and copper based) •Program and configure video management systems (IP-based and analog) •Perform preventive maintenance on integrated security devices •Respond to emergency service calls and after-hours support requests •Install and commission new security system components •Conduct system diagnostics and performance testing •Maintain detailed service documentation and client reports •Ensure compliance with local electronic security codes and industry standards •Communicate technical issues and solutions to clients and management •Travel to various client locations within the DFW area as required Required Experience/Skills •Minimum 5+ years of experience installing and maintaining enterprise-level access control systems •Minimum 5+ years of experience with intrusion detection systems (IDS), both fiber and copper based •Minimum 5+ years of experience with enterprise-level video management systems (IP-based and analog) •Technical/electrical background with strong troubleshooting skills •Superior problem-solving and communication skills •Ability to work independently with minimal supervision •Familiarity with local electronic security codes and industry standards •Understanding and ability to work safely in chemical plant environments •Valid driver's license and ability to safely operate company vehicle •Physical ability to work in various environments and perform installations Nice-to-Haves •Access Control System Vendor Certifications (Software House, Genetec, ProWatch, Lenel) •Video Management System Vendor Certifications (Genetec, OnSSI, MaxPro, Milestone) •Intrusion Detection System Vendor Certifications (Senstar/Optellios, FFT) •Advanced networking and IT knowledge •TWIC Card holder - Experience in computer operating systems, network design and implementation •Previous experience in industrial or chemical plant security systems Education High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical certifications or associate degree in electronics, security systems, or related field preferred.
