Volt is immediately hiring Maintenance Mechanic I in Valencia, CA. Key Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on production equipment Perform preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability Assist Operations, Quality, and Engineering teams with root cause analysis (e.g., 5 Why’s, incident reviews, non-conformance investigations) Collaborate with operators and technicians to support production needs Carry out planned, corrective, and preventive maintenance tasks Fabricate machine parts as needed and maintain shop cleanliness (5S standards) Follow all safety protocols and company policies Complete and document work orders in MP2 system accurately and on time Participate in team initiatives focused on performance improvement Experience: Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience Experience with break-fix and preventive maintenance PLC troubleshooting experience preferred Skills & Abilities Effective planning, organization, and communication (verbal & written) Ability to work independently and as part of a team Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, fluid power, and control systems Understanding of Ohm’s Law and electrical systems (460 VAC 3-phase, 110 VAC control) Skilled in electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic repairs Proficient with hand tools and specialized equipment Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, MP2 or similar CMMS) Title: Maintenance Mechanic I Location: Valencia, CA Duration: 7+ Months Shift Timings: 1st Shift Pay Rate: $27.00 - $32.00/hr *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
