Overview: Design, create, implement and maintain databases in MS SQL and MS Access applications. Design disaster recovery plan for infrastructure and databases. Configure systems for high availability, BI (Business Intelligence) and decision support. Design and performs database optimization plans, conversions, maintenance plans and BI analysis. Responsible for continuous workflow improvements. Maintain and administer various mission critical multi-tier customized client server and web based applications and databases. Design and configure, and maintains various reports using SQL Reporting Services. Maintain the IVR telephony Call Center databases, application, network and infrastructure. Configure, administer and maintain the IVR Customer Interaction Center (CIC) servers. Design disaster recovery and backup plans for infrastructure and databases. Position Name: Database Administrator Location: Baltimore, Maryland Hours: 8 – 5 pm (one hour lunch), after hours and weekends as required Employment Status: FULL TIME Qualifications: Equivalent related experience or a Bachelor’s degree required. 2+ - 5 years of experience Requirements: Experience with Microsoft Reporting Services SQL Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and other reporting tools Must be able to multi-task effectively Possess excellent oral and written communication skills Possess excellent troubleshooting skills Some Knowledge of Business Intelligence (BI) Experience with Active Directory is a plus Experience with IVR technology is also a plus Must also be able to pass a security background check and pass a for-cause and pre-employment drug test. Responsibilities: Installation, configuration and upgrading of Microsoft SQL Server, MS Access and Oracle related products Database design and implementation Database tuning and performance monitoring Develop both simple and complex reports and on-demand queries Implement and maintain database security (create and maintain users and roles, assign privileges, data integrity, etc.) Application tuning and performance monitoring Setup and maintain documentation and standards Establish and maintain sound disaster recovery policies, backups, and procedures Plan growth and changes (capacity planning and scalability) Recommend latest DBMS technologies to management Work as part of a team and provide 24x7 supports when required Perform systems administration duties Contact Email: arobin@full-circle-solutions.com
