Our client, a nationally recognized law firm with a robust insurance coverage and defense practice, has an immediate need for an experienced Insurance Coverage Attorney, to join their winning team in Texas. Our candidate of choice will bring a strong background in complex insurance coverage litigation and a proven track record of success in both state and federal courts. This role involves representing insurers and insureds in high-stakes disputes, advising on coverage issues, and managing litigation from inception through resolution. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Represent insurers and insureds in first-party and third-party coverage litigation, including catastrophe and large-loss claims. Litigate complex coverage disputes involving bad faith, Stowers liability, Texas Insurance Code violations, and DTPA claims. Draft and analyze detailed coverage opinions and policy interpretations. Handle all phases of litigation including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, trial, and appeal. Advise clients on risk management, claims handling, and litigation avoidance strategies. Provide training and seminars on claims management, ethical practices, and litigation trends. Collaborate with national teams on multi-jurisdictional matters and novel coverage issues. KEY QUALIFICATIONS: Juris Doctor from an accredited law school. Licensed to practice law in Texas; additional admissions (e.g., federal courts) are a plus. Minimum of 7 years of experience in insurance coverage litigation. Strong knowledge of Texas Insurance Code, DTPA, and relevant case law. Proven ability to manage complex litigation and deliver favorable outcomes. Excellent legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills. Please apply today for immediate consideration.
