Cost Accountant – York, PA The Opportunity Our client, a unique and agile custom manufacturer working in a variety of industries, has engaged us to identify a Cost Accountant for their York, PA location. This position is responsible for managing all manufacturing-related financial information and supporting finance and manufacturing operations through variance analysis and inventory management. Key Responsibilities: Analyze and report manufacturing variances, scrap, and product returns Review standard costing models and identify process improvement opportunities Conduct cost analyses and profitability studies for manufacturing operations Maintain inventory accuracy and cost data within ERP systems Qualifications: Required: BS degree in Accounting with CPA and/or CMA certification 3-5 years manufacturing experience plus public accounting background Strong analytical abilities and excellent Microsoft Excel knowledge Preferred: Pharmaceutical industry experience and lean manufacturing exposure Oracle EBS ERP systems experience (SAP acceptable) Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental coordination The preceding is just a brief overview, and if you’re interested in learning more, please let us know and we can arrange a conversation to provide more detail.
