Commercial Maintenance Technician

Accentuate Staffing is assisting a client of ours in the Raleigh area recruit for a Commercial Maintenance Technician to join their team. In this role, you'll work closely with property management and leasing staff to ensure properties are safe, functional, and well-maintained. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling a variety of tasks across multiple trades. This is a direct hire opportunity working Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Responsibilities: Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire alarms, etc.) Complete repair requests from tenants, performing work directly or coordinating with outside vendors as needed Maintain the safety and appearance of common areas, parking lots, and building exteriors Handle minor repair work such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, and light electrical tasks Keep maintenance areas organized, manage inventory of parts and supplies, and ensure work orders are properly documented Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications (HVAC, building maintenance, etc.) are a plus Minimum of 3 years' experience in property maintenance or a related trade Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry systems Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to work independently Must be physically able to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work in varying environmental conditions (heat, cold, heights, noise) Flexible availability, including occasional on-call work for emergencies Must have a valid NC driver's license
