Job Summary Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing reagent manufacturing equipment to ensure smooth operations. Duties range from routine maintenance to complex troubleshooting of control circuits and PLC systems, supporting Manufacturing Engineering with process improvements, equipment installations, and technical upgrades. Key Responsibilities Perform preventive and emergency maintenance on mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems. Troubleshoot PLC-controlled systems (Allen-Bradley RSLogix 500/5000) and servo motors/drives. Support new equipment installations, upgrades, and process improvement initiatives. Maintain accurate maintenance records in SAP ATR and collaborate on quality documentation. Monitor and manage spare parts inventory and procurement needs. Participate in Kaizen and Lean activities to drive operational efficiency. Train and mentor junior technicians and provide technical guidance to the team. Comply with safety standards (Lock-Out/Tag-Out, Zero-Energy) and handle hazardous waste as needed. Qualifications Education & Experience High School diploma/GED with 8+ years of equipment maintenance in manufacturing, OR Associate’s degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical, or Mechatronics with 2-3 years of experience. Required Skills Electrical troubleshooting (low-level signals to 480 VAC). Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs, servo motors/drives, and visual inspection systems (Keyence, Cognex). Proficiency in MS Excel and Word. Ability to lift/push/pull up to 60 lbs. Preferred Skills FDA-regulated manufacturing experience. Familiarity with Lean/TPM methodologies. Basic machining, piping, and pump systems experience.
