ILMW 35083 Warehouse Associate - A global food distribution company

A global food distribution company in the Elk Grove Village, IL area is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join their team. This role ensures the smooth operation of their logistics processes in the warehouse. Responsibilities Inspect incoming freight and compare to packing lists Receive incoming shipments in ERP system Label inbound materials and help coordinate inventory control Make note of damage or defective products Prepare outgoing shipments and customer pickups Complete shipping documents in system (ERP, UPS or FedEx) Operate forklift truck Operate power tools as necessary Qualifications High school diploma At least 2 years of shipping and receiving experience Experience shipping via UPS and FedEx Proficiency in operating forklifts Basic math and phone skills Organizational skills While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear.
