JOB SUMMARY The C-Shift Maintenance Mechanic is a vital member of the maintenance team at Client, responsible for maintaining the smooth operation of facility and production equipment. This role requires performing both preventive and reactive maintenance tasks, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery to minimize downtime. The mechanic will also support parts fabrication, shop operations, and ensure compliance with safety and reliability standards. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Diagnose and repair equipment issues promptly in response to reactive maintenance calls. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on facility and production equipment. Maintain and organize maintenance areas, tools, and equipment. Manage and track parts inventory, including fabrication and repair as needed. Utilize shop tools, hand tools, and machine shop equipment (mill, lathe, drill press, welding, etc.). Support electrical, plumbing, welding, and mechanical repair tasks. Operate and maintain tools and equipment provided by JMC. Follow safety, compliance, and operational standards at all times. REQUIRED SKILLS 4+ years of machine maintenance experience in a production environment. Proficiency with hand tools and basic machine shop skills (mill, lathe, drill press, welding). Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting knowledge. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office. Excellent communication skills. Willingness to work in a dusty environment. Reliable attendance with a passion for learning and growing. PREFERRED SKILLS General mechanic/maintenance experience with training certificate or technical degree. Welding, metal fabrication, and machine shop training. Electrical/electronic troubleshooting and repair experience (under 600V). Rigging and lifting equipment operator experience. EDUCATION High School Diploma or GED required. Technical degree or equivalent training preferred.
