Job Title: Clinical Laboratory Scientist Location: Crownpoint, NM 87313 Shift Timings: Rotational (including days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends) On call or Callback may required Duration: 1+ Year (options for 26 weeks contract) Qualifications Education: Must have Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field. Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist. License/Certification: Certification as a Medical Technologist by ASCP, AMT, or HEW. Other Requirements: Letters of recommendation (minimum 2). Key Responsibilities Perform and analyze laboratory tests on various specimens to support accurate diagnosis and treatment. Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Ensure compliance with CMS, TJC, and laboratory quality control standards. Document test results and maintain accurate patient records in accordance with regulatory guidelines. Develop and implement quality improvement measures to enhance lab efficiency and accuracy. Provide training, technical guidance, and mentorship to laboratory and ancillary staff. Participate in rotational shifts and on-call duties, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to ensure continuity of services. Support the implementation of new laboratory testing methods and assist with troubleshooting issues.
