As a Centerless Grinder you will: Performs investigative, analytical, and administrative duties applying basic Human Resources principles and concepts in a variety of functions, with a focus on payroll processing. Operates in a person-centered manner with a high degree of independence and regularly uses judgment and discretion to accomplish objectives. This position is a vital part of the HR department, supporting the Manager of Payroll & Benefits and other HR employees. Taking on responsibility for personnel records and various employee relations’ duties in a highly confidential manner. This is a full time 1st Shift Opportunity Pay Rate $29.52 to $35.88 DOE Hours: 9pm to 5:30am Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate centerless grinding machines to grind external cylindrical surfaces to blueprint specifications. Select and mount grinding wheels and regulating wheels; dress wheels as needed. Determine grinding parameters such as speeds, feed rates, and number of passes. Interpret blueprints, work orders, and verbal instructions to determine part specifications. Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools to ensure tolerances of ± .0005. Perform first article inspections and maintain accurate production records. Maintain equipment and perform routine machine maintenance. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve processes. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area. Qualifications Education & Skills: High school diploma or equivalent required. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents. Strong math skills, including geometry and trigonometry.
