Job DescriptionGovFirst is seeking to hire an ITS/Electronics Contract Monitor to support our engineering opportunities in Salem and Lynchburg, VA.Position Overview:The ITS/Electronics Contract Monitor will oversee contractor-performed maintenance and repairs of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) and traffic signal assets. This role ensures contract compliance, provides technical support for operations technology, and assists in planning and managing project task orders.Key Responsibilities:Review, inspect, and monitor contractor work on ITS and traffic signal systems.Document and oversee QA/QC for all contractor activities.Assist with planning and managing work assignments and project task orders.Provide technical guidance for the security and operation of roadside ITS assets.Ensure contractor compliance with contract requirements and approve invoices and reports.Coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues and ensure timely project completion.RequirementsQualifications:Experience in ITS, traffic signal systems, or related electronics/operations technology.Knowledge of QA/QC practices and contract compliance.Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to manage project documentation and review contractor deliverables.Preferred:Technical certifications related to ITS or traffic signal systems.Experience supporting operations technology security and roadside assets.BenefitsApply today with GovFirst to join a team delivering critical ITS and traffic signal infrastructure support!
