Dispatcher / Customer Service Representative

LHH Recruitment Solutions is actively recruiting for a Dispatcher / Customer Service Representative on behalf of our client in Aberdeen, NJ. This essential dual-role opportunity offers a fast-paced environment for individuals who excel in multitasking, problem-solving, and delivering high-quality customer support while coordinating field operations.


Key Responsibilities
  • Handle high-volume inbound calls and respond to customer inquiries with professionalism and care

  • Determine priority of incoming service requests and accurately dispatch appropriate field staff

  • Coordinate communication between customers, internal teams, and mechanics

  • Provide updates, instructions, and follow-up for service calls or scheduling changes

  • Support emergency dispatch and crisis intervention situations such as entrapments

  • Maintain accurate records in internal systems and assist mechanics in completing time tickets

  • Translate customer information into appropriate internal codes and service descriptions

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient field response and service delivery

  • Provide consistent and empathetic customer support throughout service lifecycle


Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 1+ years of experience in a dispatch, scheduling, or customer service role

  • Strong phone presence and verbal communication skills

  • Exceptional problem-solving and multitasking abilities

  • Ability to thrive under pressure and manage emergency situations with composure

  • Proficiency with office and communication systems; ability to learn new platforms quickly

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and service documentation


Work Environment
  • Office-based role using standard tools such as phone systems, computers, and databases

  • Occasional physical activity related to filing (lifting up to 15 lbs)

  • Frequent communication with mechanics, vendors, and internal field staff

Pay Details: $24.00 to $28.00 per hour
