Description
Summary: We are seeking a hardworking Warehouse Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and timely movement of goods within the warehouse. Responsibilities
- Receive and unload inventory from trucks and delivery drivers
- Inspect all inbound shipments for damages or discrepancies, and report any issues to management
- Organize and stock inventory in designated areas, ensuring that all items are properly labeled and stored
- Perform inventory counts on a regular basis and assist with periodic physical inventory checks
- Pick and pack orders, ensuring that all items are accurately pulled and packaged for shipment
- Operate equipment, such as forklifts and hand trucks, as necessary to move inventory or fulfill orders
- Keep the warehouse clean and organized, and ensure that all safety equipment and protocols are followed at all times
Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of experience working in a warehouse environment
- Ability to lift at least 75 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods of time
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Experience operating warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks
- Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and best practices
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to operate a forklift
Working Conditions
Warehouse environment and outdoor conditions including sometimes extreme hot/cold temperatures.
