Position Summary

Sikich has a need for a Data Analyst - Manager to support our client.

We are looking for highly motivated and detail-oriented professionals to join our team.

What will you do in this role?

  • Interprets data, analyzes results using statistical techniques including the ability to leverage visualization, data analysis and data mining tools.
  • Develops and implements data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
  • Acquires data from primary or secondary data sources and maintains databases/data systems.
  • Identifies, analyzes, and interprets trends or patterns in complex data sets.
  • Filters and cleans data by reviewing the data and leverages performance indicators to locate and analyze anomalies.
  • Works with management to recommend and prioritize business and information needs as well as locate and define new process improvement opportunities based on data analyses.

What do you need to succeed in this role?

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • US Citizenship required
  • Must be eligible to obtain & maintain a US government security clearance
  • Minimum of 3 years of data analytics
  • Proven experience working independently
  • Understanding of federal T&A regulations, policies, and pay rules (ex. leave accrual, premium pay, holidays, AWS/ telework rules, overtime)
  • Experience with Tableau, Python, R, ACL, PowerBI, MATLAB
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills

Additional experience that will drive success

  • Identify gaps in the improper payment data collection processes
  • Provide analysis and recommendations to improve the effectiveness of the data collection, review, and modeling
  • Develop controls to ensure data quality and data completeness
  • Evaluate and provide recommendations on organization structure, methods, procedures

In compliance with pay transparency laws, the midpoint of the salary range for this role is $105,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation; final offer amount may vary based on experience and location.
