Position Summary

Sikich has a need for a Data Analyst - Manager to support our client. We are looking for highly motivated and detail-oriented professionals to join our team.

What will you do in this role?

• Interprets data, analyzes results using statistical techniques, and uses data visualization, data analysis, and data mining tools.
• Develops and implements data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
• Acquires data from primary or secondary data sources and maintains databases/data systems.
• Identifies, analyzes, and interprets trends or patterns in complex data sets.
• Filters and cleans data by reviewing data and leveraging performance indicators to locate and analyze anomalies.
• Works with management to recommend and prioritize business and information needs and identify new process improvement opportunities based on data analyses.

What do you need to succeed in this role?

• Bachelor's degree required
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance
• Minimum of 3 years of data analytics experience
• Proven experience working independently
• Understanding of federal T&A regulations, policies, and pay rules (e.g., leave accrual, premium pay, holidays, AWS/telework rules, overtime)
• Experience with Tableau, Python, R, ACL, PowerBI, MATLAB
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Additional experience

• Identify gaps in the improper payment data collection processes
• Provide analysis and recommendations to improve the effectiveness of data collection, review, and modeling
• Develop controls to ensure data quality and data completeness
• Evaluate and provide recommendations on organization structure, methods, procedures

Salary information: In compliance with state pay transparency laws, the midpoint of the salary range for this role is $105,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation and final offer amounts vary based on experience and location.
