Overview

Staff Accountant

A multi-$B firm, headquartered locally, experiencing dynamic growth is seeking a qualified corporate Staff Accountant. The corporate Staff Accountant will be responsible for general ledger accounting duties such as preparing journal entries, financial statements and supporting schedules, general ledger and bank reconciliations, month-end close support. The corporate Staff Accountant will be part of a collaborative and supportive team, reporting to the Accounting Manager.

Base pay range

$32.00/yr - $36.00/yr

Location and schedule

This role is hybrid but requires candidates to reside within a 50 mile commute radius of the north San Fernando Valley.

Responsibilities

• Perform general ledger accounting duties, including preparing journal entries, financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Manage general ledger and bank reconciliations, and provide month-end close support.
• Collaborate with the Accounting Manager and team to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 3+ years’ experience in corporate accounting or public accounting
• Experience with month-end close, bank reconciliations, revenue reclasses
• Excel proficiency (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
