Medical Receptionist – Worcester, PA

Pay From: $18/hr

Must

• Experience Medical Receptionist
• Must have 2+ years of experience as a Medical Receptionist
• Must have experience working with EMR
• Must have experience scheduling appointments
• Must have experience handling insurance verifications
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
• Podiatry is highly preferred

Duties

• Registers new patients with complete and accurate demographics according to procedure
• Verifies patient\'s insurance eligibility and benefits at each visit
• Updates patients\' charts so that the information is entered correctly
• Scans documents into the electronic medical record as directed
• Completes work daily to compile missing demographic and insurance information for billing purposes
• Obtain prior authorizations for care
• Answer phones taking patient demographic information
• Other duties as assigned
