This role supports The US Concerts division with maintenance of venues to keep events running safely and provide a high-quality fan experience.

Responsibilities

• Keep the venue safe and clean at all times, including cleaning and disinfecting fixtures, floors, mirrors, doors and walls of restrooms, keeping guest-facing areas free of trash, and restocking restroom supplies as needed.
• Keep work areas neat and orderly, clean equipment and assist with other cleaning duties as assigned.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs during machine service.
• Participate in the venue’s sustainability program, e.g., sorting waste, collecting recycling, and educating fans about these efforts.
• Partner with staff after shows to close the venue, including collecting recyclables and storing event equipment properly.
• Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities, and mechanical skills including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
• Perform plumbing, carpentry, and related maintenance tasks.
• Use hand and power tools, electrical meters and material handling equipment as required.
• Detect faulty operations or defective material and report issues to supervision.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean, orderly work areas.
• Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or equivalent production maintenance experience.
• AA degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance is a plus.
• Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.
• Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying 50 lbs.+ and occasional sitting.

Compensation

The expected compensation for this position is: $16.50 USD - $20.00 USD Hourly. Pay is based on factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
