American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg day shift position requiring Level 1 Trauma experience and Epic charting proficiency.Job Details•Work on Med/Surg units within a hospital setting,•Day shifts from 7:00AM to 7:30PM, three days per week,•Float to various inpatient units including Medical-Surgical, Oncology, Orthopedic, Advanced Care, and ICUs as needed,•Patient population includes a range of medical and surgical cases, including trauma patients,•Epic EMR system is used and experience with Epic is required,•Travelers may only accept one assignment within the health system at a time,Job Requirements•Active Illinois RN license or temporary license accepted,•Minimum of one year of relevant nursing experience, specifically in Med/Surg and Level 1 Trauma settings,•American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required,•American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required,•Associate degree in nursing (ASN) required; BSN preferred,•Must have recent experience with Epic EMR charting,•Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; no local candidates accepted,Additional Information•Responsibilities include developing and implementing patient care plans, conducting assessments, and modifying care as needed,•Floats to multiple units depending on staffing needs,•Collaborates within a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care,•May serve as a preceptor for staff from various units,•RTO (Requested Time Off) not to exceed 7 days per 13-week contract,•Travelers may stay on assignment for up to one year, after which a 30-60 day break is required before returning,•30 days advance notice required for assignment cancellation,•No travel partners allowed for this assignment,),•hash,:• ,
