American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist experienced in neonatal and pediatric ICU care for a night shift position in a Level 2 trauma setting.Job Details•Work in NICU, PICU, and CICU respiratory units,•Pediatric and neonatal patient populations in a Level 2 Trauma environment,•Night shifts, 3x12 hours, 19:00 to 07:00,•Weekend shifts are required,•Will float between units within scope as needed,•145 total staffed beds,•Epic used for charting; Epic experience preferred,•Use of Servo I ventilators required,Job Requirements•Current Nebraska Respiratory Care Practitioner license or ability to apply within the first 40 hours; proof of application required,•Minimum 2 years of respiratory ICU experience, specifically in pediatric or neonatal settings,•BLS, PALS, and CRTT certifications required at start; RRT must be obtained before starting if not already held (CRT accepted at signing),•Experience with management of natural and artificial airways, ventilators, and respiratory therapies in NICU/PICU/CICU,•Familiarity with Epic charting system preferred,•Must live more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible,Additional Information•Daily responsibilities include airway management, non-invasive and invasive ventilator management, cardiopulmonary assessments, bronchial hygiene, medical gas therapy, aerosol and humidity therapy, administration of respiratory medications, and patient/family education,•Participation in cardiopulmonary resuscitation and response to emergencies as needed,•First-time travelers are accepted for this position,•Only any color scrubs are accepted for use,•RTO (requested time off) restrictions: 5 days or less preferred; 6-10 days off will require extension of assignment,•Applicants who previously worked perm at the facility are not eligible,•Locals within 100 miles are not accepted,),•hash,:• ,
