These physicians take care of patients including but not limited to the following diagnoses: general debility, post-surgical debility, burn, amputation, cancer, organ transplantation, cardiac surgery, patients with left ventricular assist devices, peripheral neuropathy, fracture, major orthopedic conditions, primary muscle disorders (e.g. muscular dystrophy) and Guillain-Barre Syndrome. Clinical responsibilities include an inpatient census of 10-14 patients and two half-day outpatient clinics per week.
