Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Nurse to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in Conscious Sedation and Telemetry, with a strong background in patient care, particularly within adult and geriatric populations. This role requires a commitment to excellence in assisting with a variety of cardiovascular procedures while maintaining patient safety and comfort. Key Responsibilities: - Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures.- Administer Conscious Sedation and monitor patients' vital signs pre, during, and post-procedure.- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV Teams, Respiratory Services, and Rapid Response Teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.- Participate in self-scheduling for shifts and on-call rotations, ensuring adequate weekend coverage and call obligations.- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic charting systems. Requirements: - Minimum 1 year of charge experience in a similar setting.- Required certifications: ACLS and BCLS.- Must have experience in managing and interpreting dysrhythmias.- Familiarity with procedural sedation administration and monitoring.- Travel experience in a nursing role is preferred.- Willingness to provide call coverage during specified hours on weekdays and weekends. Patient & Facility Details: - Daily census of 5-24 cases, operating in a well-equipped 4-room facility.- Procedures include Diagnostic Caths, STEMI/NSTEMI treatments, Peripheral AVF angiograms, pacemaker inserts, and cardioversions among others.- Utilize specialized equipment including Balloon Pumps and Temp Pacers.
