American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neonatal ICU (NICU) night shift position requiring pediatric hospital experience and a current CA RN license.Job Details•Work in the NICU of a pediatric hospital,•Three 12-hour night shifts per week (19:00-07:00),•17-week contract continuing through early January,•Every other weekend required,•First to float to Peds, PICU, or CVICU,•Use of Cerner for documentation,•Ventilator management with oscillator, conventional vents, bubble CPAP, and NIPPV,Job Requirements•Active CA RN license required at time of application,•Minimum of 2 years of pediatric hospital experience,•Current certifications in BLS, NRP, and PALS,•Experience caring for patients with hyperbilirubinemia, neonatal sepsis, pre/post-operative surgery, trachs, central lines, and drips,•Must work with ventilators at least 2-3 shifts per week,•Small baby care experience required,•No locals accepted; residence must be more than 50 miles from facility,•At least two supervisor-level references from within the past year are required,•Must not have worked at facility within the past year,Additional Information•Care for neonates with complex needs including surgical, respiratory, and critical care,•Provide support for pre- and post-operative patients as well as those with advanced airway and line management,•Floating is prioritized for travelers across Peds, PICU, and CVICU units,•Self-reported modules must be completed during orientation,•First-time travelers are accepted,•Maximum of 10 days time off allowed, none in the first week,•Candidates previously designated as Do Not Return (DNR) from Rady's are ineligible,),•hash,:• ,
