American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a busy Emergency Department night shift position in a Level II Trauma Center requiring 2 years of ER experience and advanced certifications.Job Details•Work in the Emergency Department of a Level II Trauma Center,•Patient population includes stroke, STEMI, trauma, critically ill, behavioral health, and low to high acuity cases,•Average daily census is 220 visits,•Uses Epic charting system; prior Epic experience required,•Night shift, 3x12 hours (18:30-07:00),•Every other weekend required,•All travelers are expected to float within hospital and to sister hospitals as needed,•No local candidates accepted (must live more than 50 miles from the facility),•No call required,Job Requirements•Active RN license (WA or Compact) required,•Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience,•Certifications required: BCLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC, NIHSS,•Prior experience in a high acuity, fast-paced ER setting required,•Epic EMR experience required,•Must provide a minimum of 2 supervisory references covering at least 1 year of recent comparable experience,•Must be able to commit to working 3 out of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day),Additional Information•Former perm staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler,•All requested time off must be submitted at time of application; limited RTO preferred,•First-time travelers with at least 2 years of ER experience will be considered,•Scrub color is unrestricted (except for reddish orange, which is not allowed),•Travelers are well-supported and encouraged to extend their assignment,•Required online modules must be completed before start and annually,•Facility pays for staff parking,),•hash,:• ,
