In this critical role, you will cultivate our fundraising program, focusing on major gifts, annual campaigns, capital projects, and legacy contributions. We are looking for a dynamic leader with a proven track record in nonprofit fundraising, particularly within the performing arts, who can inspire, motivate, and drive results. You will collaborate closely with our Board of Directors, President and Artistic Director, and executive team to create and execute a comprehensive long-term funding strategy. Key responsibilities will include: Engaging in major gift fundraising Building and maintaining strong relationships with Board members Overseeing the organization’s communication and donor stewardship efforts The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 10 years of direct fund development experience, with at least 7 years in a supervisory role, and familiarity with fundraising management tools. A strong passion for classical music and the arts is highly preferred. A master's degree or equivalent experience is required, with CFRE certification being a valuable asset. This position demands a strategic thinker who can set and achieve ambitious fundraising goals while fostering trust and confidence within a philanthropic community. You will mentor and manage a talented team of development professionals, ensuring a cohesive and integrated philanthropic approach throughout our organization.
