About the Role The Company is seeking a Vice President of Development to lead and expand its fundraising program. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic planning and execution of various fundraising initiatives, including annual, capital, endowment, and legacy gifts. This role requires a creative, collaborative, and results-oriented leader with a proven track record in non-profit fundraising, particularly within the performing arts sector. The VP will work closely with the Board of Directors, the President and Artistic Director, and the executive team to create and implement a long-term fund development strategy. Key responsibilities include engaging in major gift fundraising, maintaining Board relationships, and overseeing the organization's communications and donor stewardship programs. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' of direct experience in fund development, at least 7 years' of supervisory experience, and proficiency in fundraising management tools. A strong background in classical music and the performing arts is preferred.
