Barista
We are seeking a friendly, customer-focused Barista to join our team and help create exceptional coffee experiences. The ideal candidate will be passionate about coffee and customer service, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and committed to delivering consistently high-quality beverages and service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other beverages to customer specifications
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, blenders, and other caf equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Take customer orders, handle cash and card transactions, and ensure accuracy
- Provide exceptional customer service, including answering questions and making recommendations
- Restock inventory, including coffee beans, milk, syrups, and bakery items
- Assist with opening and closing duties as needed
- Follow all company policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a caf or customer service role is preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
- Basic math and cash handling skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes or menu items
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Able to lift up to 25 lbs
- Frequent reaching, bending, and handling of hot beverages and equipment
