Levy Sector – Position Title: Barista - Snow Summit. Pay Range: $19.00.

Note: This description reflects a seasonal Barista role with the Levy team and the Compass Group family. We are hiring to fill a seasonal position with opportunities to learn and grow within a team environment.

Mandatory Tip Split Position

Summary: We are looking for a Barista to prepare and serve ice cream, hot and cold beverages, including various types of Starbucks coffee and tea.

Barista responsibilities include educating the resorts guests on our drinks menu, making recommendations based on their preferences, up-selling special items and taking orders. To be successful in this role, you should have customer service skills and knowledge of how brewing equipment operates and troubleshoot equipment when necessary.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

This is not an exhaustive list. All other duties assigned by leadership are expected to be completed as requested.

• Serve beverages and prepared food, like cookies, pastries and muffins
• Assess customer needs and preferences and make recommendations with knowledge of the venue's menu
• Pay close attention to details of recipes (e.g. guest preferences of coffee blend, dairy and sugar ratios)
• Responsible for keeping venue clean and organized per company standards
• Understanding pricing at your venue
• Assist in regular inventory counts at your venue
• Restock and replenish venue inventory and supplies as needed
• Cash balancing/handling required
