Bilingual Retail Associate (Spanish)

The selected candidate will work at Store #1897, located at: 3210 Nimtz Parkway South Bend, IN 46628. As a Bilingual Retail Associate at Sherwin-Williams, you will play a crucial role in assisting both wholesale and retail customers. Your main responsibilities will include understanding customer needs, answering inquiries about our products, and recommending the best solutions. You will be committed to resolving customer concerns promptly to ensure maximum satisfaction, while also staying informed about product features and maintaining the store's high-quality visual standards. Your key duties will include: Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through exceptional sales service. Assisting customers in person and via phone by identifying their needs and presenting appropriate products and services. Building productive trust relationships with customers. Accurately processing sales transactions in accordance with company policies. Meeting and exceeding sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis. Maintaining precise work order files and formulas. Retrieving products from the sales floor or warehouse, and tinting/mixing products to meet customer specifications. Stocking shelves and setting up appealing product displays. Cleaning store equipment and helping with deliveries as needed. Maintaining the in-stock condition of assigned areas and ensuring they are presentable. Staying knowledgeable about available products and options. Complying with inventory control procedures and suggesting sales improvement strategies. Minimum Requirements: At least eighteen (18) years of age. Legally authorized to work without sponsorship. Fluency in reading, writing, and communicating in both English and Spanish. A valid, unrestricted Driver's License. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally. Willingness to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends. Preferred Qualifications: High School diploma or GED. One (1) year of experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service position. Experience selling paint and paint-related products. Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment.
